Postsecondary Experiences of Students with Disabilities in Washington State (2025)
Roots of Inclusion, in partnership with CoDesign Works, conducted a comprehensive survey to understand how K-12 education in Washington can better prepare students with disabilities for post-secondary success.

LITERATURE REVIEW
Educational Disparities Faced by Black Students with Disabilities
​and Potentially Promising Practices
One main focus of Washington’s Inclusionary Practices Technical Assistance Network (IPTN) is to address disproportionality and reduce exclusionary practices, especially when it comes to the inclusion of Black students with disabilities.  This literature review captures the insights of multiple studies with the hopes of providing insights for the IPTN and expediting efforts for continuous improvement toward equity.
